In cooperation with Vera Bachernegg & Katharina Maria Zimmermann — the masterminds behind Eat Write Live — Studio Marie Zieger created the design for their travel book about an enchanting little island in the north of Germany: Sylt. 

Trying to match the girls’ attention to detail and the character of the island, I used various pastel shades and playful typography within an airy layout. A mix of vector illustrations together with Katharina M. Zimmermann’s dreamy watercolor drawings and her rich photographs, invite the reader to see, to taste, to feel all the exceptional and funny impressions the island has to offer.
